Dr. Gallant received his medical degree from the University of California Davis in Sacramento, California and his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. Dr. Gallant is a valuable asset to the Celltheon team with his broad medical and scientific background. He has published several peer-reviewed scientific publications in the fields of protein binding to charged surfaces, protein interactions with metal ions, viral purification techniques, and viral dynamics. He has also led purification process development teams in development, validation, and technology transfer for recombinant protein and viral products. Furthermore, his experience with viral production techniques, viral removal techniques and viral clearance validation makes his a strong asset to Celltheon's diverse array of expertise. Dr. Gallant has significant director-level management experience, having overseen seven figure annual budgets on a regular basis.
